Autism Diagnostic Service
We’re pleased to announce the launch of our dedicated Autism Diagnostic Clinic at Tokyo Medical and Surgical Clinic (TMSC), now available for individuals aged 4 years and above (including adults). In addition to assessment and diagnosis, we also offer advice and therapy services to support individuals and their families.
Our multidisciplinary team works closely with each person and their family to gather a comprehensive picture of their strengths, challenges, and unique way of experiencing the world.
As part of the diagnostic process, the ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition) will be administered by Speech and Language Therapist Anissa Eckhoff, in collaboration with one of our clinic doctors. If an individual meets the criteria for an Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), receiving a diagnosis can offer valuable insight, understanding, and access to appropriate support.
Service Details:
- Step 1. Initial Remote Consultation (40 minutes) with SLT Anissa Eckhoff ￥20,000(+ tax)
- Step 2. ADOS-2 Assessment (60 minutes) ￥100,000(+ tax)
In-person on Tuesdays at Tokyo Medical & Surgical Clinic - Step 3. Remote Feedback Session (20 minutes) with SLT Anissa Eckhoff ￥10,000(+ tax)

Anissa Eckhoff

Raised in Tokyo in a multilingual environment, Anissa completed her speech pathology training in the UK. Throughout her professional career, she has worked extensively with children and young adults – from age 18 months to 20 years of age from diverse linguistic backgrounds. Her caseload includes children/young people presenting with a range of needs, such as speech, language, communication, interaction and behavioural and emotional regulation differences. Anissa is able to offer services in both English and German.
