Dr. Hisamitsu Ide is a board-certified urologist and serves as a Specially Appointed Professor in the Department of Urology and Healthy Longevity Medicine at the Graduate School of Medicine, Juntendo University. His clinical and research expertise focuses on urologic oncology and robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery.

He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Miyazaki. After completing clinical training and research experiences at the National Cancer Center in Japan and at UCLA in the United States, he was appointed Associate Professor in the Department of Urology at Teikyo University School of Medicine in 2007. In 2020, he became Professor at the Center for Minimally Invasive Treatment, Dokkyo Medical University Saitama Medical Center. Since 2023, he has held his current position at Juntendo University.

Dr. Ide is a board-certified specialist and instructor of the Japanese Urological Association and a board-certified endocrinology and metabolism specialist of the Japan Endocrine Society. He is actively engaged in clinical practice and research in men’s health, including late-onset hypogonadism, as well as preventive medicine and anti-aging medicine.
